Biography

Currently, I mainly focus on the artificial intelligence in power systems, such as explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) and transfer learning in wind power forecasting, electricity theft detection and reactive power optimization of distribution networks.

• Jan, 2026: Our paper “Fault diagnosis of power transformers using graph convolutional network” received CSEE JPES 10th Anniversary High Impact Paper Award .

• Sept, 2025 : My PhD thsis titled "Modeling and Optimization of Active Distribution Network Operation Based on Deep Learning" is awarded the Outstanding Thesis Award at IEEE SmartGridComm 2025.

• Aug, 2025 : I am delighted to share that, as a DAAD AInet fellow alumnus, I have been selected for the DAAD Short-term Research Stay . This winter, I will reunite with previous supervisor (i.e., Prof. Christian Rehtanz) and colleagues at ie³, TU Dortmund University .

• Feb, 2025 : I am excited to announce that our work on Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) in wind power forecasting has been covered by EPFL , Wind Daily , eeNews , and other leading media platforms.

• Jan, 2025: Our paper “Ultra-short-term Interval Prediction of Wind Power Based on Graph Neural Network and Improved Bootstrap Technique” received Best paper Award (top 5.2%) from Journal of Modern Power System and Clean Energy.

• Jan, 2025 : I am excited to announce that I have been selected as a JSPS fellow in Japan. This summer, I will visit Institute of Science Tokyo to collaborate with Prof. Takayuki Ishizaki on this short-term research project.

• Dec, 2024: I am excited to announce that I will join the School of Engineering at the University of Leicester, United Kingdom on April 1, 2025 as a Lecturer/Assistant Professor. .
